Knockout Stage Scoring (Round of 32 → Final)
Note: For knockout matches, you must also pick the team that advances. In the score prediction, use the 90-minute (or AET) score — not the penalty shootout. Penalties don't count as goals.
Pre-Tournament Picks
Before the tournament starts, pick your champion, runner-up, two semifinalists, and top scorer. These lock when the first match kicks off on June 11.
⚠️ Penalty for changes during the tournament
Once the World Cup kicks off (June 11), you can still edit your pre-tournament picks — but each pick you modify is halved (50% off) for the rest of the tournament. The penalty applies per pick, independently: changing just the Top Scorer only halves that one. If kept unchanged from the start: Champion = 25 pts, Runner-up = 15 pts, each Semifinalist = 10 pts, Top Scorer = 15 pts. If changed mid-tournament: Champion = 12 pts, Runner-up = 7 pts, Semifinalist = 5 pts, Top Scorer = 7 pts.
Tiebreakers
If two or more players finish on the same total points, tiebreakers are applied in order:
- 1.Most exact results (5-point picks)
- 2.Most correct outcomes (3-point picks)
- 3.Most points in the knockout stage
- 4.Correctly picked the champion
- 5.Fewer pre-tournament picks modified once the tournament started
- 6.Prize is split equally
General Rules
- →Picks for a match close 1 minute before kickoff. After that, no changes.
- →If you don't submit a pick for a match, you get 0 points for that match.
- →Official results are as published by FIFA — extra time counts, penalties don't.
- →In knockout matches, you must also predict the advancing team.
- →No refunds after June 1, 2026.
- →Part of the entry fees covers organiser costs (domain, hosting, payment fees, physical prizes). The rest goes to prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place — amounts announced before kickoff.
